- Seamless Transitions – We have an entire team focused on ensuring the smooth conversion of new clients to MBA from other providers, including payroll processing, insurance, benefits and other essential services.
- Competitive Edge – MBA’s continued leadership within industry organizations, such as the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO), enables us to stay current on trends and regulatory compliance.
- Training Services – We offer onsite and web-based training programs, as well as assistance in developing company policies and procedures and a variety of other proactive HR measures designed to protect clients and avoid costly litigation.
PEO and HRO: MBA Provides Flexible Solutions
MBA offers two types of relationships with our clients: Professional Employer Organization (PEO) and Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO):
- Payroll and Tax Administration - Our team assists clients with payroll processing, employment taxes, deductions, check processing, tax credits and more.
- Benefits Support – Clients can recruit and retain the best employees with a customized benefits plan, from health, life and disability insurance to retirement accounts.
- Workers’ Comp and Risk Management – MBA assists client to develop a safer workplace and navigate the complicated HR Administration – Assistance is only a phone call away when it comes to regulatory compliance, training programs and human resources issues.
Professional Employer Organization (PEO)
MBA’s PEO arrangement supports businesses through a co-employment relationship. Employees become, for certain purposes, employees of both MBA and our clients. Our client retains sufficient control of all daily employee activities, while MBA is designated as the employer of record for tax paying and workers’ compensation insurance purposes. In this relationship, wages and payroll-related taxes are reported and paid under MBA’s federal ID number.
- For our clients, MBA becomes a strategic HR partner. We help to reduce liability and streamline the employee administration process.
- For employees, MBA provides a professional human resource department and assistance in using the employee benefit package that organizations select.
Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO)
A HRO arrangement is also a close one between our clients (the business owner), their worksite employees and MBA; however, MBA does not have a co-employer relationship with worksite employees. MBA serves as an HR consultant. Clients receive administration assistance, but unlike in a PEO arrangement, a co-employment relationship is not established. All insurance products are client based, and employment-related taxes are reported and paid under the client’s federal ID number.
